Replacing custom notebooklm-py wrapper (42 tools) with upstream notebooklm-mcp-cli v0.5.17 yields 38 consolidated tools and 20 net-new capabilities including: studio_revise (edit existing artifacts), cross_notebook_query (query across notebooks), batch (multi-item operations), pipeline (multi-step chains), tag (source tagging/smart-select), async query (notebook_query_start/status), notebook_get, notebook_describe, source_rename, source_describe, source_list_drive, source_sync_drive. Zero custom code to maintain post-migration.
