Our custom notebooklm-py-based wrapper (42 tools) was missing 6 upstream capability groups: studio_revise (edit existing artifacts), cross_notebook_query (multi-notebook query), batch (multi-item ops in one call), pipeline (multi-step automation), tag (source tagging/smart-select), and async_query. Replacing with upstream directly adds 20+ net-new capabilities with zero custom code maintenance.
