notebooklm-mcp-cli-upstream-replaces-custom-wrapper
The custom 42-tool notebooklm-py-based wrapper was replaced with upstream notebooklm-mcp-cli v0.5.17 running natively via notebooklm-mcp --transport http. Rationale: zero custom code to maintain, 20 net-new capabilities (studio_revise, cross_notebook_query, batch, pipeline, tag), upstream security hardening, and pip upgrade path for future versions. The custom wrapper had no test coverage and required manual porting of every upstream feature.
