Upstream notebooklm-mcp-cli v0.5.17 uses 38 consolidated action-based tools (e.g., source_add with source_type param covering url/text/drive/file) rather than granular per-action tools. Migrating from a custom 42-tool granular wrapper to upstream yields 20 net-new capabilities: studio_revise, cross_notebook_query, batch, pipeline, tag, notebook_query_start/status, chat_configure, notebook_get/describe, source_describe/rename, source_list_drive/sync_drive, research_status, notebook_share_status/batch, refresh_auth, save_auth_tokens, server_info. Any SKILL.md referencing the old granular tool names must be fully rewritten.
