AutoResearchClaw implements a 4-layer citation verification pipeline: (1) arXiv ID validation, (2) DOI lookup via CrossRef/DataCite, (3) title string matching, (4) LLM relevance assessment. This prevents hallucinated references and unverified citations in research outputs. The Oracle stack had zero citation integrity before this integration — extracting this as a standalone utility (researchclaw_verify_citations MCP tool) makes it available to all Oracle research workflows, not just paper generation.
