AutoResearchClaw’s citation verification engine uses a 4-layer cascade: arXiv ID lookup → CrossRef/DataCite DOI resolution → title string match → LLM relevance scoring. This is production-grade anti-hallucination for references and is absent from the Oracle stack today. The citation verifier should be extracted as a standalone utility accessible via MCP tool so any agent generating reports can validate references without running a full paper pipeline.
