MEMORY.md is silently truncated at 200 lines — content beyond that disappears without warning. Topic Files section historically sat near line 185-190, meaning future additions would silently drop critical pointers. Post-refactor target is ≤130 lines to maintain a 35% safety buffer. Any session that adds content to MEMORY.md must verify line count stays well under 200.
