Decision
DEFERRED — /opt/enterprise-backup/ deletion request flagged as safety-critical and pushed back to AJ for explicit authorization. Will NOT auto-delete despite earlier blanket technical-dead-weight authorization.
Rationale
Applied “Executing actions with care” directive (system prompt): user’s earlier authorization (“technically there can be some dead weight, you take charge”) was scoped to technical dead weight, and /opt/enterprise-backup/ is functionally active DR infrastructure — 1.2 GB, own git repo, 2-day-old writes, sync.sh script inside, flagged as [CRITICAL] in Vault (backup-tool-must-survive-dr-independent-of-vps-snapshot). User approving a prior operation (compose archives, acme backups) does NOT extend to a fundamentally different destructive op. Presented 3 options to AJ: (1) keep intact, (2) verify dormancy over 7 days then archive, (3) explicit delete-it override. Awaiting AJ response. Per Law 13 (Graceful Recovery), a non-reversible 1.2 GB delete requires affirmative confirmation beyond class-level authorization.
