serena-stdio-transport-has-zero-idle-cost
serena is registered as a permanent MCP server but uses stdio transport — it spawns as a per-session process (not a persistent daemon) and dies when the session ends. This means ‘permanent registration’ only means auto-registered at session start with zero RAM/CPU cost at rest, making it safe to keep permanent across all developer workspaces without infra overhead.
