MCP Server integration was chosen over CLI invocation (docker exec) and ACP protocol for AutoResearchClaw. CLI returns unstructured stdout with no typed responses. ACP is designed for LLM delegation, not orchestration, and provides less control over individual pipeline stages. MCP Server is native to the oracle-network stack, provides structured JSON tool responses, allows granular control of all 23 stages, and follows the established Bible v18.1 MCP development framework.
