mcp-server-preferred-over-cli-acp-for-oracle-integration
When integrating external research tools into the Oracle stack, MCP Server pattern is preferred over CLI invocation (docker exec stdout) or ACP (designed for LLM delegation, not orchestration control). MCP enables structured typed tool responses, granular stage control, and native fit with ORACLE Hermes’s existing tool interface. CLI returns unstructured stdout; ACP gives less control over individual pipeline stages.
