ResearchClaw v0.4.0 upstream ships only a stdio scaffold with 6 placeholder handlers. Our installation runs a custom streamable-HTTP wrapper exposing 11 tool surfaces with an ORACLE Hermes seam. The v0.4.0 config schema grew 6.3× and has no migration path for the HTTP wrapper. A naive upgrade would silently lose 5 tool surfaces and break the ORACLE seam (Law #10). Blocked; requires a dedicated design session with decision_matrix before any migration attempt. Backup retained at /opt/enterprise-backup/researchclaw/pre-upgrade-20260415/.
