mcp-dual-config-drift-risk-claude-json

MCP registrations can silently diverge between /home/claude/.claude.json (claude-user session) and /root/.claude.json (root-user mirror). A server registered in one but not the other will appear in claude mcp list for that user only, causing inconsistent capability between contexts. Always verify both files are identical after any MCP add/remove operation using diff or jq comparison.
