permanent-mcp-visibility-vs-session-scoped-for-subagents
Session-scoped MCPs (registered with -s project, auto-wiped at session close) are NOT visible to subagents that were dispatched before the MCP was registered. User-scope permanent MCPs ARE visible to all subagents. For tasks requiring a session MCP in a subagent, register it before dispatching any agents in that session, or fall back to Bash tool equivalents. The 10 Permanent MCPs cover the load-bearing surface and are always safe for subagent use.
