Registering the xint MCP server without specifying a policy defaults to read_only, which blocks all Phase 2b engagement commands (like, bookmark, follow, block, mute, lists). For full capability, the server must be registered with --policy engagement: claude mcp add -s project xint -- /usr/local/bin/xint mcp --policy engagement. This must be re-applied each session since xint is registered session-based, not permanent.
