Cortex Analyst testing: Gen 1 ai_sql_generation instructions are static text (not SQL). Gen 2 Semantic Views replace with programmatic dimensions/metrics/filters. MCP tool test_analyst_query was returning empty SQL due to wrong response path (fixed 10-Mar-2026). Always test against PROD views, not DEV/TEST.
