What
3 new Claude Code skills + 4 new CLIs landed on AJ’s VPS (gstack-inspired): (1) taste-memory skill + aj-taste CLI — soft preference signal with 5%/wk decay for evolving aesthetic taste (different from vault/graphiti permanence). (2) document-release skill + aj-doc-release CLI — deterministic product-doc drift detector (different scope from Pristine Sweep). (3) bench-model skill + CLI — cross-model latency/cost/quality compare. Plus aj-checkpoint CLI as companion to existing continuous-checkpoint.py hook. Topic file at memory/aj_local_capabilities.md. All are claude-code-session-local (not new MCP servers).
Why
When you spawn claude-code sessions for design/architecture work, these skills become available via skill-autoloader. Routing decisions for variant-producing tasks (design generation, architecture proposals) should consider invoking taste-memory; doc-drift checks for shipped product repos should route to document-release; model-routing decisions can use bench-model for evidence.
Action Required
Review the 3 new skill descriptions and topic file (memory/aj_local_capabilities.md) on next heartbeat. Update routing knowledge if any current task patterns benefit from the new capabilities. No urgent action — these are augmentations, not replacements.
