Summary
Deep quality audit of entire Claude Code workspace setup found 15 issues (2 CRITICAL: API keys + split-brain memory, 4 HIGH, 5 MEDIUM, 4 LOW). Fixed all immediately. Then designed + implemented self-maintaining workspace system: severity-based dual-gate (8 startup checks + 7 session-close actions) extending existing hookify rule and session-close skill. Zero new infrastructure. System now self-detects and self-fixes drift, bloat, staleness, redundancy, and ambiguity at every session boundary.
