Execution path: manual UI today (Path X, ~7 min) given MCP tool surface gaps; dev workspace to upgrade fivetran-mcp + tableau-mcp for future automation (Path Y).

Sales team updates SharePoint DSR by 11:00 AM IST daily; current 05:00 IST Fivetran sync runs BEFORE the daily update, locking all 6 sales dashboards to D-1 data permanently. Shifting Fivetran sync to 11:30 IST (30-min buffer after team cutoff) and Tableau extract refresh to 12:30 IST (35-min buffer after Fivetran completes ~11:55 IST) yields fresh dashboards by ~12:40 PM IST same-day. Cost-neutral: MAR is per-changed-row not per-sync, so re-timing has zero cost impact. Snowflake compute negligible. Tableau Cloud bundled. Reversible in seconds via single field on Fivetran + 6 task-edits on Tableau.
