Decision
Codex CLI is set up as first-class peer to Claude Code in aj-workspace: AGENTS.md (project + global) + Permanent 8 MCP loadout + dedicated feedback memory. Same laws, directives, memory; only execution tooling differs (no Skill tool, no hooks → manual application).
Rationale
AJ directive 2026-05-11 mandates god-grade quality invariant to which CLI is launched. Chose POINT-to-MEMORY.md over duplication (Law 1: Zero Redundancy). 8 MCPs added via codex mcp add preserving the pre-existing CCVS reasoning-effort profiles. Bias scan returned zero detected biases. Setup-curator routing validated (step 3, all 8 filters pass, format contract met, cascade complete). Two open items surfaced to AJ rather than presumed: (1) XINT_BEARER shell-init placement (blocked by Unauthorized-Persistence guard), (2) CCVS inverse-direction gate (codex-as-primary → Claude review pass). Pristine residue check: /tmp clean, /root/downloads empty, no orphan temp dirs.
