Build the SFDC Home Loan reports natively in Salesforce Reports & Dashboards (11 of 12 KPIs) rather than exclusively in CRM Analytics, with CRM Analytics reserved only for the MoM Penetration delta (KPI 18) which needs row-window functions SFDC reports don’t support.
Rationale
Live schema verification on Loan__c (157 fields) revealed 11 pre-built numeric/formula fields covering nearly every TAT and Ageing KPI: Loan_Ageing_Creation_to_Sanction__c, Loan_Ageing_Creation_to_Disbursement__c, Loan_Ageing_Sanction_to_Disbursement__c, Loan_Sanction_Pending_Days__c, Loan_First_Disbursement_Pending_Days__c, Registration_to_Disbursement_Days__c, Percentage_of_Bank_Funding__c, plus 4 bonus fields not in Tableau. This means R4-R8 + R11 collapse to “point a report at an existing field with a Bucket Field on top” — zero schema changes needed. Picklist values on RW_Loan_Record_Status__c (10 vals) and RW_First_Disbursement_Status__c (22 vals incl. ‘Disbursed’) match Tableau formulas exactly. Only KPI 18 (MoM Penetration delta via Tableau LOOKUP table calc) cannot be reproduced as a row-window function in native SFDC reports. Choosing CRM Analytics for all 12 would require dataset modeling, dataflow recipes, license entitlement check, and SAQL fluency for what 11/12 KPIs do natively in 30 minutes per report. Choosing native reports honors the platform’s strengths for the bulk of the work and reserves CRM Analytics where it’s genuinely required. Confidence 0.85 — the only residual risk is exact-record-count parity vs Tableau, which is easy to validate on R1.
