AutoResearchClaw natively supports ACP (Agent Client Protocol) with llm.acp.agent: "claude" config — it can delegate its LLM calls through Claude Code as the backend. This is the upstream-intended integration pattern. However, ACP is designed for LLM delegation (making AutoResearchClaw the conductor), not orchestration (where ORACLE Hermes is the conductor calling ResearchClaw). These are opposite control flows — choose based on who orchestrates whom.
