desktop-bridge-tools-appear-with-uuid-prefix
MCP servers bridged from Claude Desktop to a VPS SSH session appear with UUID-prefixed tool namespaces (e.g. mcp__25c8febe-9c20-4bdd-8714-49ba76f3fd6f__*). Disabling the Desktop connector mid-session removes all those tools immediately with no residue; re-enabling requires a new session or /clear. This is the intended on-demand pattern — zero context cost when the connector is off.
