AutoResearchClaw natively supports ACP (Agent Client Protocol) with config llm.acp.agent: 'claude', which delegates all its internal LLM calls through Claude Code rather than direct API calls. This was not chosen as the primary invocation pattern (MCP Server was chosen instead), but ACP is the correct mechanism to configure AutoResearchClaw’s LLM backend to use Opus 4.6 and Haiku 4.5 without requiring separate API keys.
