The AutoResearch skill should be upgraded to v2.6.0 with two additions from AutoResearchClaw: (1) AST-validated experiment execution that scans generated code for unsafe imports and patterns before running in optimization loops, and (2) academic literature source tier that queries OpenAlex + Semantic Scholar + arXiv when the research topic has a scholarly dimension. These make existing optimization and deep-research loops both safer and more evidence-backed.
