AutoResearchClaw’s 23-stage pipeline has 3 gate stages (5, 9, 20) that block progression pending human-in-the-loop approval. When ORACLE Hermes orchestrates ResearchClaw in autonomous mode, it must programmatically call researchclaw_approve_gate or researchclaw_reject_gate tools. In co-pilot mode, gates surface to the human researcher. Never assume the pipeline runs fully unattended — design the MCP wrapper to handle gate callbacks explicitly.
